DNA GALLERIA
DNA Galleria studio produced album by Jamaaladeen Tacuma. This collection of compositions was a result of ongoing collaborations with Philadelphia musicians, completely improvising , bringing about organic fluid, spontaneous compositions based solely on improvisation, featuring jazz, electronica and harmolodic elements. This project was developed in the 1990’s during a monthly live concert residency that lasted for two years at the music venue "Tritone" featuring some of the biggest names in the improvised music scene such as Marc Ribot, David Fuziuczynski, Fostina Dixon, James Blood Ulmer, Odean Pope, just to name a few.

This recording is an offering of pure musical love with all tracks played live with no sampling. A group of brilliant, creative Philadelphian musicians with an attitude of creating music for now and forever. DNA Galleria is a studio recording extending from a residency of live concerts that were held at Club Tritone in Philadelphia where the audience was always delighted. There will be a collection of live recordings from the Tritone residency coming soon.

Several of these musicians who were all very influential members of the Philadelphia Music community have passed away since the recording was made , Legendary Malik B, Monnette Sudler, and Charles Cohen . May their musical legacies live on .
